Google Rolls Out the +1 Button – parallels the Facebook "Like"

Today Google began rolling out their next foray into social recommendations. Google calls it +1, as they explain “the digital shorthand for “this is pretty cool.'”To recommend something, you click the +1 button on an organic result or ad you find useful. These +1’s will then start appearing in Google search results for others in your social network when they are signed in. Future plans include +1 buttons for websites, too.
